Garrett got started launching sales for early VC backed companies before working at Uber, where the GetScale founding team built and scaled Uber’s first driver recruiting team, responsible for leveraging billions in marketing spend to acquire millions of new drivers. That experience proved a valuable hypothesis: taking the time to speak to people one-to-one is often the push they need to get across the finish line. In 2018, Garrett left Uber to found GetScale: a 300+ person team built around fundamental sales principles.
In addition to operating GetScale, Garrett provides consulting to select businesses on how to maximize funnels through one-to-one conversations, how to systematically hire and train world-class sales people, and has given his signature “How to Sell Anything” presentation in offices, classrooms, and auditoriums across the US. His four pillars of successful sales: Attention, Pain, Solution, and Close are leveraged by thousands of salespeople today (at GetScale and elsewhere).
