Amir Hever is the CEO and Co-Founder of UVeye, an AI-driven vehicle inspection platform revolutionizing the way fleets, dealerships, and logistics providers assess vehicle health. With a deep background in image processing and computer vision, Amir has spent over a decade building transformative technologies. Prior to UVeye, he served as VP of R&D at Visualead, a QR tech company acquired by Alibaba in 2017. In 2016, Amir co-founded UVeye with a mission to create the world’s first fully automated, AI-powered vehicle inspection system. What began as a security solution to detect undercarriage threats has evolved into a full-stack automotive technology used across industries — including last-mile delivery, rental fleets, dealerships, OEMs, and auction houses. Under Amir’s leadership, UVeye has become a critical tool for some of the most demanding fleet environments. A standout example is Amazon, which began integrating UVeye’s technology into delivery stations across the U.S., UK, Germany, and Canada. The goal: to ensure safer, faster inspections across thousands of last-mile delivery vans — identifying issues like tire damage or body dents in seconds, reducing downtime and boosting driver and vehicle uptime. UVeye’s expansion into the fleet space also includes a major partnership with Hertz, where the technology now performs instant before-and-after rental scans, delivering 360° vehicle health reports that improve trust, damage accountability, and operational efficiency. Today, UVeye operates with global OEM partners like GM, Toyota, Volvo, and major dealer groups. With over 1.9 million scans completed annually, Amir continues to push the boundaries of what AI can do for automotive and fleet operations.
