John Janson leads SanMar’s global logistics organization, where he has spent the past decade advancing strategy and execution across a network spanning six continents. A recipient of the 2025 CSCMP Transportation Excellence Award and the 2022 DC Velocity Rainmaker Award, John is widely recognized for positioning logistics as a strategic driver of growth—balancing service, cost, and agility in a dynamic global environment. His consistent message: business is personal. With more than 30 years of supply chain leadership experience, John is known for building resilient networks, strengthening partnerships, and developing high-performing teams. He is an active industry voice, serving on advisory boards and speaking at CSCMP and Journal of Commerce events. John is a graduate of Boise State University. He and his wife, Susan, have been married for more than 40 years and have two daughters and five grandchildren.
