As Eastern Canada DC General Manager at Best Buy Canada, I oversee a 1.1 million sq. ft. automated facility processing 30 million units annually from Manitoba to the East Coast, supporting 300+ retail locations, white-glove last-mile delivery, and eCommerce fulfillment across one of Canada’s largest retail distribution networks. With direct P&L accountability for a $57M operating budget and close partnership with transportation, demand planning, merchandising, and multi-channel logistics teams, my role extends well beyond the four walls of the DC.
Over 15+ years in high-volume distribution, I have led complex operational transformations in Canadian retail logistics, including full WMS modernization, AutoStore automation implementation, and the insourcing of eCommerce fulfillment. I measure success not only through throughput and cost metrics, but in the strength of the teams and leadership pipelines built along the way.
Developing leaders is as central to how I operate as driving operational excellence. Throughout my career I have invested in structured coaching, individualized development plans, and programs that identify and grow talent from within, consistently building succession depth and maintaining a fully internal hiring record.
What energizes me most is building a winning operational program, the strategy, structure, people, and culture, and driving it through every level of the team until it becomes the way the business operates.
