Mujin runs a live digital twin of the robot in motion, and its sales doubled last fiscal year
Bloomberg reported on June 10, 2026 that Mujin, the Japanese robot software developer behind MujinOS, plans an initial public offering by 2030 and is raising an extension to the 233 million dollar Series D it closed in December, valuing the company above 1 billion dollars. Its software automates loading and unloading, stacking boxes, arranging warehouse carts, cages and pallets and coordinating robot fleets for users including Toyota and Fast Retailing, and it keeps a live virtual model, a digital twin, of the real machine in motion, reading sensor data to pick the robot's next action. Bloomberg says rising robot adoption doubled Mujin's sales last fiscal year and that the company expects revenue to double again this year; robot arms under its software handled 1,000 cases per hour as of last year, nearly triple six years earlier, and it targets a 50 percent rise in US sales this year.
- $233 million Series D Closed In December, Now Being Extended, Per Bloomberg

- 50% Targeted Increase In Mujin's US Sales This Year
Case handling is the step before the parcel, and Mujin's software sits exactly there: loading and unloading, stacking boxes, arranging carts, cages and pallets. The twin in this story is inside the robot rather than beside the operation, a live model of the machine in motion fed by sensor data so the arm can handle a wide range of products, which is the variety problem every fulfilment centre on the program lives with. The demand signal matters for buyers as much as the technology: sales doubled last fiscal year, the company expects another doubling, and it names inflation, immigration policy and US-China tension as tailwinds, so supplier capacity and lead times are a buying question. For robotics suppliers the reference customers, Toyota, Fast Retailing and a Starbucks operation in China, show where the proof points are being built.
